Spotted this bike today. If I was listening for it I may as well been deaf. Very nice bike that seemed to move as if by electricity. Or maybe it was because of a the din my 1979 classic single was making.

The pegs would have to be moved back 2 feet and up 4 inches to suit my riding style and something would have to be done about the handlebar position too I guess. And I'd have to remove the exaust can so I'd know it the engine was running or not.

Nice bike Shazz looks like your going to have a great summer eating up the highways.

I'm glad you like your new bike, but you should have held off until next year because Honda are remaking the original styled Shadow VLX 600 and 750, which IMO are far more attractive than the after 2003 shadow models ie 2 pipes leading out of the header, 2 exhausts, none of this big fleared out retro style indian/harley davidson look-alike mudguards, low and long

doesn't this Honda shadow just look nice?! I can tell you they sound nicer with 2 pipes and a little tweaking to louden them up.

I bought an M50 because I like the lines and styling and twin exhausts!

Great bike Shazz. Guy at work had the 2004 and it just seemed to look the part. Actually it looked a lot like a nice Harley

    Wow

AWEsome bike there. I decided to try out the cruiser style yesterday for the first time and Motomart just happened to have a white VT outside and all ready to go... With my somewhat limited biking experience being confined to sportsbikes I was expecting to be unimpressed.

WRONG!! Once I figured out where my feet where supposed to go (yes it took a couple of goes!) and how to get my built up bike boots under the gear lever - I was literally away laughing..

What a neat bike!! I could touch the ground everywhere I went, it cornered well, it is well balanced and really easy to ride. With the sun glinting off the pearl paintwork, it was getting more than a few looks from people as I pulled up at lights etc.

I was intending to take it for a quick burst up the road and back but ended up taking it away up the motorway to see how responsive it was, and ease of riding in traffic.

I came back smiling and with a completely different perspective on cruiser style bikes...

No true I didn't mean any offence, but alot of the 'ladies' bikes are bits of plastic put together.
There is not alot out there styled for a 'real' woman! Opps that might be offensive also, so apologies prior! me have big mouth!!!!!
Not many bikes out there for a woman who likes to have a nice bit of reving meaty throb under her bum. Now that may be getting a little too personal.
Oh well, give up. A nice bike then!
Throw a sheep skin on it and take me for a spin will ya!!!!!

That thing looks more like a beefed up CMX250 to me. Porportions are wrong. Tank too small, engine to cramped and the rear fender to big for a smallish tyre.

anyway you've got it ass about face, the 250 rebel would have been based on the shadow 600 if anything, the shadow here is a 1988, those rebels are post 90 and look like shit. just like Gn250's do

For the size of that fender?

Agree with you there. Always preferd the look of a v configuration than inline and atleast the inline fours have high end power. Those Rebel engines are gutless as hell, not even torque enough for low down power. Thay make a great learner bike though. Just like Gn250's do.

lol that it is, my dad had an old shadow and I thought it looked great back then. Maybe I'm just comparing it to new bikes too much.

Enjoy!! I took one out for a test ride but found that I got a sore lower back from the riding position. But that is personal. Apart from that, I found that it was a very stable bike and easy to ride. Took a Hornet out later and went on to buy a new one. Regardless of what you are riding, it is nice to be out there and even better on a new bike. As I said, Enjoy!

I was a little apprehensive about going from a 250 to the 750 as there ain't much of me, and a lot of bike. But boy the weight is so sweetly balanced, the 750 is just as easy to manouver around the roads than the 250!
The seat height is awesome too, as the leg and seat length is just perfect for me being 5'1" only! There is a little prob though at times if I get in a little rut, and I need to move around on the tip of me toes.
There have been heaps of good comments from the guys at my work, and as usual the comment from one was "hate to pick that one up" and that was it!
I was going to buy one of those new boulevards, but wasn't keen on a all the plastic look so instead fell in love with the Honda, and boy I am loving it.
So if you are thinking about it, look into it. It is an awesome biker-chic cruiser!
WoW, loving that bike!!! awesome stuff Shaz!!! Enjoy
