1) Lewis pass 91 Punakaiki Rally (Mud Run) Mate's 81 SD, had a 8mm allen key hose clamped to the gear lever shaft, electrics hated rain, but a bloody great bike.
2) MHR on song just down the road from home.
3) Mate's 80 LS(not a SL, the ID plate had LS stamped on it) 500 Pantah, crap starter motor, so was bump started everywherecost my mate 2 lots of 2yr loss of licence within 5yrs. It had a heap of coin thrown at it while it was off the road but ended up having an appetite for clutches. (maybe not a bevel but it's the era).
