If this goes for anything like its opening bid I reckon its good buying. I really love that motor in the road frame with the frame mounted half fairing like the one on the 900SS

I thought elections were decided by angry posts on social media. - F5 Dave

    1) Lewis pass 91 Punakaiki Rally (Mud Run) Mate's 81 SD, had a 8mm allen key hose clamped to the gear lever shaft, electrics hated rain, but a bloody great bike.

    2) MHR on song just down the road from home.

    3) Mate's 80 LS(not a SL, the ID plate had LS stamped on it) 500 Pantah, crap starter motor, so was bump started everywhere cost my mate 2 lots of 2yr loss of licence within 5yrs. It had a heap of coin thrown at it while it was off the road but ended up having an appetite for clutches. (maybe not a bevel but it's the era).

I've owned mine for about seven years and I don't think I've got any photos of it!

Except for these taken over the last couple of weeks.

Looking at the rear swing-arm, both of those bikes appear to be the limited edition Paul Smart replica.

Nah they're both 1000S base models, the swingarm is straight where the Paul Smart rep has an arched swingarm. Think they're a bit plump looking, SS dukes were lean beasts

You're absolutely right. I must have spent too long looking at that motion induced blindness link!
