Hey i was just wondering about these rides if any younger riders ever tend to come along, me and mi little put put GN are keen but wasn't sure if its all adults on big bikes?

sure mate, im probably the youngest at 18, unless glen/rg100 turns up - he's 16

we'll make special arrangements so we dont end up at a pub (most of the older guys can pose as your dad anyway....)

That sounds great, i'm definitely keen to go down and commuting from kapiti with some fellow KB'ers sounds even more inviting, the rides to wellington tend to get a little tedious on my own.

hsvboy06 when do you usually tend to leave kapiti for the ride, or i sthere some place i could meet you. i'm in raumati beach, i don't know where you are? are you going this week?

oh and a new dad to get me into the pub sounds rather amusing too =D

I come in from Paraparaumu and have met up with Sels1 for the Wednesday ... so will meet up too if you like.

The ride to Welly shouldn't be boring (snigger) we use Paekak Hill Rd. We don'nt have to do it fast, it's just such a cool road to ride at any speed ... and really gets you cornering well.

We're always keen for another newbie to join us.
You'll be fine riding with us, We've started riding with a newbie group that has a pace setter and a tail end charlie.
Basically, If you have the ability to ride at legal road speeds to the meeting point, then you'll cope fine riding in the newbie group.

Yep, no worries about the age, plenty of dads, granddads, the occassional mum too, for you to choose from.

It's good to be back in Wellington (kind of, not so sure about the going back to work thing tho)

Well Im counting down, about two weeks and ill be back, just gotta get clutch plates, get the wheels powder coated, and wait for all the fairings to come (Crazefox is painting em up) then ill be there!!!!!!

On a more serious note: It's looking so good out there today, wish I could join. Will give my mate with the gsx a ring and see whether I can take it out for a "test ride" perhaps.
