I park my ride under the front window of the cafe I work at, once someone decided to sit on it! couldnt believe it! so i flicked the switch behind the counter to open the windows (elctric) ...window opens and he could not get off quick enough and fell to the ground!! hahaha!! was so funny!
If someone wants to sit on my bike (and being a 'busa they always seem to want to) and they ask, generally they're more than welcome providing they are not drunk or mentally infirm.
But if I catch anyone touching it without permission, god help them.
Had some bitch using my old CBR250RR as a drink stand at a party years ago. Spilt some red syrupy shit all over the seat and tank. Took ages to clean it up. She couldn't understand why I went mental, nearly ended up in a fistfight with her boyfriend about it. Some people have no f*cking respect for other people's property.

i have taken photos of bikes without the owners permission [they werent near by at the time] and usually get a shot of the rego card so i can get the year correct when filing. the rego card pic never sees the net, and i never take photos of license plates.
the best ive found yet would be the 1930s harley in invercargill. actually looked its age!

ROFL.... thats awesome dude.... how dare she have a go at you though!!
I dont think i have ever seen a person jump in a convertible and pretend to drive it... so i wonder why people think it is ok to sit on a parked bike?? Is there an offence for breaking into a car and sitting in the drivers seat, weather your thinking about stealing it or not, your tresspassing on private property no? so why is it not the same for bikes? Prosecute their bikini asses!![]()

I've used a situation like this to my advantage - tucked my bike at the end of some free parking but the bike was slightly in a no parking zone.
I was only gone for about 15 minutes and got a ticket.
Anyway, I disputed the ticket and said someone must have moved the bike to get their car out and the council let me off![]()
Nope, left it on the driveway, with all the other vehicles, went inside for about 15 minutes and came out and she's spilt shit all over it. Didn't use anyone's CAR as a drink stand, just my bike.
And BTW, the party was inside, not outside on the drive. Stupid shore girls.

Sheesh, tough crowd to please. I don’t mind if people sit on or touch my bike provided there is no malice or intent to damage it; indeed they are welcome to, especially if they are genuinely interested. Hey no harm no foul, a bike is only a “thing” IMHO but its hard to tell what peoples true intentions are so I guess its natural to be a bit concerned if someone is shitting around and I don’t know what they are intending to do....
If they ask or seem reasonable then no worries, even if I “caught them at it” so to speak. If they are quite the opposite then, if practical, I spose I would need to give them a bunch on the teefs or at least threaten them with a caution, then maybe leg it, or a combination?
As for grubby hand prints, well the road spooge that I collect after a ride is infinitely harder to clean and certainly no worse than those of my Son, His Cousins and their mates who love to hop on for a “ride” and they always ask if I can help them. My only concerns, especially with the kidlets (even if they are with an adult) are that they maybe badly burned if the bike is still hot or even worse that they may suffer a crushing injury (fatal?) if the bike rolls off it's stand. If I am there to supervise then happy days.
I must be getting soft in my old age
