I went to the submissions meetings and I am advised that Motorcycles will be FREE!
so that's good if it were down to my submission or not. at least the question has been answered so if the weather is crap we can use the motorway free and when its sunny use the back roads twisties. Its all good

You want to convince them to have a re-think about tolling bikes?
A simple protest is the trick - organise HEAPS of bike riders to hit the toll booths at rush hour, dismount, remove gloves, get wallet out, hand over $50 note (or $100 if you don't have a $50), get change, put change away, put gloves back on, re-mount and move on. Each rider should make this procedure last maybe 3 minutes. The backlog of traffic will be horrendous and you can be pretty confident that the toll operators will run out of change, too.
A week of that twice a day should do it.

What a wonderfully devious, nasty malicious piece of social manipulation. Of course it will make every single motorist hate us when we filter through the queue and then take ages to pay the toll, and maybe even inspire some of them to violence. This would give greater news coverage of the ensuring riot, when all the bikers back up one of their own. But that could help in the end as it would mean a greater defence and possible legal support for removing the tolls for bikes as it endangers our safety.
