Hey, kids! Captain Hero here with Getting Laid Tip 213 - The Backrub Buddy!

Find a chick who’s just been dumped and comfort her by massaging her shoulders, and soon, she’ll be massaging your prostate.

Do you think that by having a grumple here that bike shops actually will take it out on you - I dont - a bit egosentric.
From my experience the bike shops who read my first posting have had a bloody good laugh with me - and tried to bend over backwards to show me that they can provide good service with them, and I wont get that kind of crap happening at their shop.

keep up with the thread man - currently striped down in Huntly, waiting parts ex Japan.
I was wanting to trade it + $5K - so now I'm lookin at waiting a month to get it on the road again for a cost of $1k - then trade it +$4k

I was hoping to get a GS1200ss, but now I'll just wait and see wht I can afford.
A good ol 'burn at the stake' sounds like fun though.

Well to be quite honest if I was a Buisness that was being badmouthed by a customer I would take it seriously and do something about it!!
    Mind you I'm a vindictive c**t!!!
If you walked into my shop you'd be shown the door!!!

The point (which you dont seem able to get) is there were a number of stuff ups - including telling me porkies and charging for work not done. From my own experience in life I would rather forget about the original bill, get my bike fixed somewhere else - why deal with incompetence and scrap over $300 I won't ever get back- lifes too short, unless you've got nothing better to do.

On that note I've also got better things to do than listen to anymore insults from you - from what I'm told you've had an unfortunate accident in life, and seem to want to take it out on people now and then.

Fair enough - your probably a nice guy
I simply read your initial post and using my limited mechanacial knowledge came up with the diagnosis. If they have been dishonest as you state, you should be taking it up with them, if you have the backbone and ability not to loose your rag. I'm only nice when I'm being paid to, otherwise I'm a bastard, what type is entirely up to you. I've only rebuilt a few bikes, but still have much to learn. Either way I hope your bike is sorted, Jap imports can be a hassle, I've had one and was lucky that it was a good bike...
