I've noticed a small improvement in my riding after doing a few things, so I thought I'd share it and it would be of use to some riders who are in the same learning curb as myself.
Big up's to Quasi for informing me about the wonderful book "A Twist of the Wrist" when I was a complete noob. Since then I've read the book briefly and it's a very informative book. Things I learnt from it would have otherwise probably taken years. So get a copy and get reading. And I will definitely get hold of the DVD and more of Keith Codes publishing.
I've just recently changed my tyres to GPR 100's as my preference has been Dunlop. They are more than enough grip you would need in all weather. Tyres are very important and I can feel the vast difference in performance compared to previous tyres.
For those who have not done track days get out there, give it a go and try it. It's well worth every penny. Most external factors which exist in road riding are eliminated and you have some potential to push your limits and explore your boundaries, a wonderful feeling and something mentally enhancing!
I've just got some pictures of before after stripes as an indication. They used to be about 30-40mm (6 months ago) now they are down to 2-5mm. I still have room for a lot of improvement with my ZXR 250 and I am having fun learning things on it, just think good things take timeso guys in the same boat as myself hopefully that's something you can take on board.
Happy riding and learning!
