    1,000 k's on the clock and a $1 reserve - can't hurt to have a look aye!

that's a goddam bargain for whoever wins it

the swingarm could probably be straightened and re-heat treated for a coupla grand

the subframe is hardly a concern, just pull it straight and tack up any cracks.
    the rest seems cosmetic.

    good luck finn

i take it you havnt tried to re-cert a bike since the last lot of rule changes!
Swing arm will need to be replaced, you should see the spec you have to have for LTSA! some dick who knows nothing about bikes and engineering wrote the rules. frames have to be like 1mm tolerance , fuck ive of heard of frames coming out of the factory 5-10mm out of spec!, same with forks .1 of a mm, fuck thats a new one.
It will be a bargain at a 2 grand but some muppet will pay 6 for it.

looks like the new trend, insurance selling their damaged bikes on trademe rather than sending them to those ripoffs, turners auctions!!

Yup, that it is. Instead of sending trades to Turners etc, we put a lot of them on trademe and watch the bidding frenzy! Good feeling watching the dollars go up on a car you would've got fuck all for from Turners.

    Boys and Girls!

This was my bike, i binned it on the hway 22 near pukekawa on gravel!

I was hoping to buy it back myself for a spare motor, but Star wanted to auction it and you bastards keep bidding on it!

Any questions about the bike i'd be happy to answer them.

...and yes it was only 2 weeks old and had only done about 1300k's.

And by the way, Star insurance are fucken legends!

This was the second bike i wrote off in 3 weeks (my first being the one that was on display at the Star Insurance stand at the manukau bike show).

Not only did they give me another new bike but they covered me again.

    Their service is truly outstanding!
