Images are no prob, the sound has me flummoxed.

'Loyal' - but it's not about NZ. 'Nature' - but it's a bit stupid.

If this was back home it would be a doddle. 'Great Southern Land' or 'Sounds of then' or 'Downunder' - but is there a Kiwi equivalent?

    A groovy song about NZ.

At the mo it's Tim Finns 'Couldn't be done' because the message is better.

Suggestions? and I'll go to itunes and buy it.

thats a serious suggestion. Its a great song, an uplifting message, and the video rules as well. I think it would be perfect.

Sounds of then - Ganga Jang is the Aussie version what I was looking for'. Home:

I think I hear the sounds of then,
    And people talking,
The scenes recalled, by minute movement,
And songs they fall, from the backing tape.
That certain texture, that certain smell,

To lie in sweat, on familiar sheets,
In brick veneer on financed beds.
In a room, of silent hardiflex
That certain texture, that certain smell,

    Brings home the heavy days,
Brings home the night time swell,

Out on the patio we’d sit,
    And the humidity we’d breathe,
We’d watch the lightning crack over canefields
Laugh and think, this is Australia.

The block is awkward - it faces west,
    Long diagonals, and sloping too.
And in the distance, through the heat haze,
In convoys of silence the cattle graze.

That certain texture, that certain beat,
Brings forth the night time heat.

Out on the patio we’d sit,
    And the humidity we’d breathe,
We’d watch the lightning crack over canefields
Laugh and think that this is Australia.

Sounds like it should be crap but it is brilliant.

Actually yeh - this song is true NZ. Pity a certain islander thought he was too big for the band.
