Just beyond the horizon over there
The Wiff knew someone who did follow up on drive offs for a Petrol Co. Some were splash & dash for $5 or $10 petrol. Heavens sake!
Guess the same people were genuinely surprised to find out they were being taped.
'Course then the theft of licence plates went up.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
.... back in green and feeling great ....
At least they can find there way around without getting lost, about 10km up the road heading towards Kaikohe. is a little settlement called Awarua, thats where I was brought up, my dad still lives in the area, don't get a chance to get up there as often as I would like to see him.
As kids we use to head down to the twin bridges for a swim in the summer months.
cheers John
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

mate, have you seen the big hole they are drilling in a hill north of orewa, just so the aucklanders dont spill their foamy coffees driving over it to their holiday homes up here in Norfland? thats a waste of money in my opinion.![]()
yes that photo is taken on the "middle road', which is a lovely commute north![]()
Tis a good road that. Pity they sealed it though.
Just don't break down or come off, cos it can be a long time before anyone comes along.
