Pass it this way... No one else would take it - it's only a four speed.

Either that or take corners faster...

Hmmm,....now who has a GP125 race bike.....

We are talking Suzuki GP125 and not a Grand Prix 125 race bike now, aren't we...
I love these guessing games...:bleh:

Seriously though, yes am interested,...are they 17's ?
They be Grand Prix wheels. He's got forks too I believe.

That's classic. I was bidding on that...not seriously though...need to have money to bid seriously.

I wonder if it'd be possible to get a test day organised before the first race day.1, Me too.
2, Ask Bayden.

I guess I'll have to apply to become a member of this elite club.
Either that, or kick ya butts on the track....then after you walk away with sore butts, you won't be able to race so Nasty and I can win by default.....oh bugger, just given away our race strategy...

I have my butt kicked regularly... I'm still a member of the
Norf Welly Massif!
You don't apply. You get invited.

Easy as... Just get a std AX100 exhaust and weld the new pipe to it.

That would be a really long pipe. If that sort of thing works I might try it. :Pokey:

yes they ARE full race GP125 wheels....

phoned my contact back last night to sort a "deal" out.... seams like he jumped the gun a bit....

he is NOT SURE if they are forsale yet...... friggin kids.. you try and help them.....

but he will be asking "he who owns them" what the deal is...

and then once i know more...let the bidding begin!!!

Anyone got an old spare A100 motor lying about?
THE A Needs a heart transplant by the look of it :(
Should be good after that tho.
Maybe just an oversized piston will do it but the scuffing on the barrell may even be too deep for that...

28th January 2008, 09:36
Pity those old barrels didn't have very rounded transfers else you could have bored it to 125cc & run a 24mm carb, which it probably has anyway. Being Iron all the way through means no liner to worry about. Piston choice should probably be old suzuki as they have single transfers so the ring peg position would suit.

Works well as advice for my competitors. Try it.

Just find a piston which is modern with a thin ring with the right size gudgeon pin. Pete Sales can relocate ring pins. I have had him do it plenty of times for me. Then just machine the barrell or make a spacer to get piston/barrel heights right. Be careful of finished engine capacity, don't want to end up cheating. :shifty:

I have the tools to do it. Just shove it on the Massif CNC Plasma we have at work. Just gotta memba to put the pipe in my car so i can draw it up at work.
