I want nothing for myself other than to be chatting with you all this time next year. If you are driving or riding never drive/ride faster than your angels can cary you. P.S If you love music and sad things please watch the attached ad. Its an Aussie one but the message is universal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2mf8...ayer_embedded#
This morning, I was confronted by the spectre of having a broken day of riding, oh the agony of it all! Family responsibilities and other such hum drum necessities of life does intrude on one's riding desires! Suffice to say my good reader that I am contracted to work for a goodly number of hours in the family business, to wit : being a short order cook, serving up a palatable array of consumables to customers for remittances. This will entail me curtailing my desire to "ride as far ...
Well this morning, the gear was hung out to dry on the line early, to allow the zephyr winds to wick away the rain's wickedness the previous night. Gloves stashed strategically on the Big Ol'Hornet's motor was retrieved and left on the warm concrete floor. Boots previously filled with water, were now more dry than damp, also left on the warm concrete floor to keep the gloves company. As the morning rolled its way, I had cleared my chores and looked forward to where I wanted to go. ...
Well, to cap the night off, caught up with TOTO, Sharry and a new rider to the swarm; Carlosliu. Carlos turned up second and we had a good chin wag and some ice cream as we waited for any others to arrive. Sharry arrived next sans cash or debit card so in a gallant display of chivalry, I offered to be a temporary wallet for her As time ticked to the seven on the town hall's clock, we mounted up and tootled melodiously to Mission bay via Auckland Domain, ...
Sunday started off far too early. The wife went to church and I had to drive her. After that I couldn't sleep again so I got into some breakfast and sat down with to watch the Bruce Willis flick called Surrogates. Movie was ok, Rosamund Pike was better than ok. She really is a honey. A little quirky looking but that's part of her charm. Anyway, I was too busy setting up the cheap laptop I picked up to be too interested in the movie. It's a $100, you-didn't-get-it-from-me jobbie I didn't-get off ...
Well, this day finds me early at school to sort out the detritus from this years student body. The robust representation of their work is all boxed up, bagged and thrown into a dark, dusty corner. Oh, if only it was Hogwarts, then I could toss the students to Cerebus the three headed hell dog. After completing my rounds, I chirpled home to change into my usual red camo ninja pajamas and refueled the beasty. All roads beckoned, the day plentiful in vast dollops of splendid ...
Well, today, I find myself in the earstwhile company of some fellow motorcycling stalwarts. Some new, some old to our fine lifestyle. I had watched a thread on KB with growing interest, a group of learners/250cc riders wished to improve their skills, associate in like-minded company and to do so, in relative safety (as safe as motorcycling gets). This morning, I pre-rode the roads towards the BP Botany, which has been the gathering spot for many a memorable ride. As ...
Well this Saturday just past my fine purveyor of online blogs and ASCII translations of thoughts, I had agreed previously to help a young lady to sort out a new ride that would suit her eminently vertically challenged stature. Now, as we all know, it does not take much of an excuse to make one perve longingly and with wondrous examinations of a delicate curve, the rounded form, promising much and with trembling member, we are transfixed in our winsome lusts and desire ... and explore ...
