Dunedin rides

Went into Honda Otago on my way home today to find out about this adventure ride to the Brass thats been advertised - while the route isn't being released until the day I was taken through it and it looks like a fantastic trip which I'll do quite happily without putting knobblies on the T/A unless theres a torrential downpour. Most of that country is so dry at the moment it will take quite a bit of rain to change things.
So hopefully I can send a bit more stuff up with Delphinus to lighten the load - I don't suppose theres any other KB Dunedin riders interested in a back country blast to the Brass??? - no need to reply I already know the answer.
I've bought a bottle of mull wine concentrate I found at the supermarket the other day and a bottle of Green Ginger wine - so XKnuts and Free2B wheres these mull wine recipes???? - what else do we need to bring?

I heard the sound of a bike engine outside so went down to have a look and sure enough some helmet clad someone on a VTR was in the driveway... Didn't look too much like NH though and turned out it was a guy who had recently moved over from the UK to Chch and was down here for a ride, and mistook us for the backpackers next door.
Anyways we started chatting about bikes and his beast is now safely tucked away in my garage for the night.

Is anyone doing the "Burnt Ostrich Rally", 5kms North of Winton this Saturday????

My mistake on an earlier post. B.O rally is "BONEY OSTRICH RALLY" tomorrow 5km North of Winton. Last year it was between the Beaumont rally and the Brass Monkey. Apparently it was rescheduled this year so as not to clash with the big HOG anniversary run last weekend. They have a big bonfire and small open sided marquees around the place, behind the White Pub.

ok guys please vote on the poll for the location of the Dec KB get together - some of the suggested locations are a very long way for a Sunday ride home for us down here, but get on and make your choice. You can vote for more than one which is handy, but don't go for more than 3 or it will get totally indecisive.
