The only V11 Sport models with the single-plate clutch were:
2001 Rosso Mandello
2002 Scura
2002 Tenni (Special Ed Le Mans)
...all other models come with the standard dual-plate kit.
For some reason only the Scura's (6-8 I think) had the problem.
The reasons are from bad assembly.
Bolts not done up tight and no grease on parts.
Or the clutch basket was to thin and had sharp edge's to start cracking.

I would pull it apart to check for cracks and bolts are tight and Loctited.
Or two pull it apart if the clutch got nosier than normal.
Like not all had a problem, just some.
Must have been a new guy on the assembly line.
Just like if you have a problem with the fast idle lever not staying on.
You may find that you have the fast idle return spring and the seat cable spring around the wrong way.
Read that and checked on SDU bike and hers were around the wrong way.
Mine were the right way around, Guzzi character.
My fast idle had always worked and now hers works better then before.
