I'm seriously amping over this weekend now

    how cool is this:
i get to fly back to my hometown,
    catch up with the parents,
watch the bledisloe test and have a few bourbons with the old man,
get mum's new printer/fax thingy going nice one ma
    pick up my new bike

    and THEN

up the coast road to cheviot, then the hundalees (oh baby), the ripping coastal sweepers all the way from oaro to wharanui and then the hills through to blenheim and picton, yeehah says yod
pity i haven't got time to do the inland route but i gotta be in picton at 12....

the last time i rode that road was 13 years ago when i moved to auckland - went through there in the pissing rain on my old 900 (yes it was a kwaka lance)

i picked up some new rev-it gloves from anza this week too so it will be a good test from them (but i better throw the old goretex's in, just in case)

far out...i aint gonna get any sleep this weekend, i just know it....
