Hah! I actually started writing a paragraph about outsourcing our prisons to Indonesia, but I got carried away with a rant about how our legal system is not a justice system, and ended up deleting the whole lot before I got carried away.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

The state must protect it's loyal citizens from criminals!

Beyond all reasonable doubt. "YES". ( state has a duty to protect other inocent citizens)

Guilty but reasonable doubt. "NO" (Issue suitable piece of rope with jail sentence, the state should provide options and freedom of choice)

All others should retain their human rights, the sentence should be fitting to the crime!

Full sentence must be completed, parole should be the exception to the rule!

Parole should be tangibly earned, not as of right!

Uh, to be convicted of a criminal offence it ALREADY must be proved "beyond reasonable doubt". So you're proposing a new category of "more certain than certain". ?

Scum like this make me sick to my stomach. I want to get a rope and hang them from the nearest tree. Does anyone else believe we should bring back capital punishment?
Yep, I believe there is a place for the death penalty. Not so much to "protect" society, but purely for fiscal reasons. Why should I pay to keep someone in jail for their lifetime?

No, just reiterating what's already there. the question I answered was should we bring back the rope?

Untill now I have always been against that but thanks to you people (Lawyers) too many of them (criminals) get slapped with a wet bus ticket!

I think you guy's (lawyers) are now more part of the problem than you are part of the solution.

This of course is just an opinion based on your "apparent" behaviour or is that just the media misrepresenting the "facts".
