Jamie and Neil passed through in the middle of the dry season, here is an idea between the two.

Daily temperatures are always over 30C year round getting to the high 30's
Humidity is the difference which gets up to 90%+ and rain.
No rain for over 160 days last dry season.

Here is the same spot, there is a water crossing just before but it is gone now, this is a public road and almost single track over the hill.

Hey TLD, pity you didn't ask me bout Ohlins and the folk you delt with before you purchased....I would have saved you a bomb!!

The WP, stock on the KT, are far better....I have never had a satisfactory experience with an Ohlins. Had 3. Slow learner.

Wifey and I will be up your way in late June, I am working down in WA, place called Moora at the moment, will be outta here early June and headded north.

Be good to catch up again after a year!

    Jamie.
I'm no gynaecologist, however I would be happy to take a look......................

    .
I am sorry to hear all this.
If you got the same package as us, then yes, it is an arse cruncher without quite a heavy load on the back of the bike.
Since I got home, I have never had that much load on the bike again - not even close - so I finally saw sense and fitted the standard spring to the Ohlins shock.
What a difference! I had to open the spring up about 0.5mm with a die grinder to make it fit but it only took about 5 minutes.
These days, I go looking for the holes and corrugations just for the grin factor.
Because the spring rate is lower, you need to back off the rebound damping and increase the compression damping but it all works fine.
I still have the big tank on and so I have left the higher rate springs in the front.
    Pretty happy now.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.

While Joe was riding my PD and I was on his DR I had a little incident on the DR.

At the last little stream crossing with that quite sharp entry and exit as I came out I gave the DR a bit of throttle and nothing happened. Joe's poor DR ended up lying on it's side.

It just didn't have the low down the PD had and it caught me out, and the full event was caught in technicolour.
