but rat bikes evolve out of high mileage, short cuts, temporay modifications and bodges to keet things mobile at minimum expense / effort because of necessity rather than an art form in itself

so true thats the way we are going too, lots of modifications, ha ha it just has to get up the hill and do some awsome burnouts!!!!! we are not riding it down there. ist all about having a blast.
