That can be a good thing. You don't have the problem of re-learning things. One of my mates is a good mate of luke's, apparently he had hardly ridden when he started fmx....just decided to do it!
I'm not really a dirt rider anymore, but I jumped on a bike in aussie last year (for the first time in about 15 years) and went out with a fairly well ranked guy (steve someone....mate of my mate over there) to hunter valley where all the pro's practice, and held my own ok still. I was jumping all but 2 of the tabletops after about the 2nd session, and could hold on to steve for about a lap.....but there weren't that many fast guys there that day.
I used to race MX up north about 15 or 20 years ago and could beat or equal anyone up there back then... but as per normal for me, never had the cash to take it any further.
    Ah the good old days

Brendons still going good. He was at The Sandpit Sunday and did a good 60 minutes non stop on the MX track. Fitness didn't seem to be a problem.
