#1. I made this good splash crossing a ford at pace on Mt Aspiring Rd near Wanaka on my KLR650 back in 1999. Bloody rubber footpegs, my foot slipped off the peg on this one.
#2. The boys mucking around on one of the many crossings on the Nevis, bikes were going oppostie ways thru the river trying to drench each other.

That's pretty cool. Never though of going opposite ways. Have to try it one day..............in a wet suit.

I'm tempted to "T" the float bowel breather up into the airbox so it dosn't stall in longer water crossings.

Yea and I spose if water gets in that vent tube its probarbly the least of your worries. actually if you put it in the right place it could shut down the engine before any water gets through.

Yeap there where three of us on the ride ...me, myself and I.

There was a handy DOC sign post right there so just chucked the camera up on that, did the turn around and filmed it, clipped off the front bit we didn't want and hey presto me going through the ford, thought they mighta been deeper but most water is stuck on the hills and frozen.
