Hyosung claim a dry weight of 168 (Aus website) or 377lb ( 171 kg, US website). So I think 170kg wet is a fair estimate. US model has 27hp and 16.7lb/ft. So what mods have you done to get to 36hp?
Ah, I just read that properly again. Ok, so 17L petrol is aprox. 12.6kg, plus I would be guessing about 2 or 3 kg for oil?
So to get 170 wet you'd have to take about 15kg ish off the bike. Hard to say if that's achievable or not.
I can understand 170ish wet as you race with 5litres of fuel etc but 36hp from can and jets seems far fetched if it wants to be within the rules.
The 27 claimed would be at the crank also.
36hp is what you would expect from inline 4cylinder at rear wheel with the same mods.
Need to see this bike in action soon.
Its gunna need gpra10 tyres. All this budget tyre stuff is not going to help if he wants to win races in his first event.
Would suspect those sung forks will need some internal tweeks.Think that is alowed also in this class by the look of it.
Spadas according to the manual, are 153kg dry....havnt been able to find a hp figure yet....but are hoping to get another 5-7kg off it.
Anyone used Bridgestone 003R's ? Got one on da front & a 090r on the rear...
The Heart is the drum keeping time for everyone....
Petrol is less dense than water, water is 1kg/L approx. Avgas is about .72kg/L, petrol is about .74kg/L.
Pretty sure rachprice's VFR dry could beat the Hyo anyway, Hyo would break itself before the first lap and Rach can push her VFR around
Not to mention how such a 'modified' Hyo could run in street 'stock' in the first place.
36hp from a hyobag......yeah right!!!!
Even if you put a new exhaust on, new carbs and a set of race cams....which i doubt you've put on....you'd still be putting out less than 35hp....
chuck norris's calender goes from march 31st to april 2nd
