Think of it as a bonus. You posted with the best of intentions, that's all that should matter.

You have any idea what hoops are needed to be jumped through, to have a crack at the "bastard..."?????

NO one was hurt- why should he get prosecuted?
And ups to Morcs for standing up for a mate- on ya buddy
Just some further precautions could have helped. Two mates stopping cars in both directions for the couple of minutes it took for starters....

Huh? So them fellas and fellesses in cages were all safe like then? I recall a rock killing a dude on the motorway not too long ago, and that weighed 8kg. Is Carver a skinny anorexic biafrin bastard?

    +1...

If it cost, then THAT is what the funding should be for.......

Another +1. Bridge blocked for 2 minutes is all it would have taken.....

But its because I am passionate about Kiwi's being molly coddled and legally tied down to stupid legislative protectionism that should have never interfered in our previously adventurous nature:
We always admired in PRIOR generations for doing mad, brave and OFTEN foolish acts for the sake of it

Why not support carver for this- he did good
Wont bother ya all again the money I sent to the legal fund speaks for itsef

And truly Bob- I was overboard back there

A few thoughts on this thread:
A lot of people have accused of carver winging or denying guilt ... can anybody quote this? All I remember was that he said there was a good chance that he could get out of this, not that he thinks that it's unfair and he is being persecuted. Seems a lot of people like putting words in other people's mouths

Speaking of putting things in other people's mouths, what's with all the references to prison sex? A few people perhaps speaking what's really on their mind? Frustraited perhaps?

Does anybody realise the complexity and expense of doing this legally? Hell the expense and paperwork of running motorsport legally on a track is bad enough.

I dunno. I'm not saying what carver did was right, but he wouldn't be the only person on KB who has some creative interpretations of the law. I can't see how this put any more lives at risk than those who choose to drastically exceed the speed limit regularly.

    good picture there....
traffic management, advanced notification of the bridge being closed, foam on both sides, one a moving foam truck to make it safe....
traffic management plan being put in and approved too, even advertising to state the temporary closure of the bridge....

    simple as eh!

I can gaurantee that if you'd taken all those precautions, you'd have fallen off. These pansies are probably the kind of people who want to ban climbing trees in schools. Don't listen to them. Don't even justify thier pathetic comments with a response.
