lets assume at this stage that Joe wont be able to get a key (he hopefully will be bikeless by then)

So, unless someone can come up with something better how about the following as a loose plan.

Meet at Toppys at 9.30 Sunday for a leisurely coffee and perv.

Head in to Sutherlands Hut and maybe chomp a sandwich there (The stream might be up a bit which will add to the fun)

    Blast up cnut

Ride out to the locked gate at the coast

Retrace our steps and have more coffee at Toppys

If we can't get up the hill we can faff around on some of the side tracks near Sutherlands Hut.

    So whos coming??
    Me
    Andy?
    Bart?
    Gav?
    Michael?

    anyone else?

Just playing around with google thingy.

This is a rough idea of how steep this bloody thing is. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like about 160 metres of elevation in just over 400 metres. This is with a loose rock surface, and after a steep climb of about 300m from the riverbed.

    Ahhhh........I love this shit

I'm getting too lazy to play with that google technology. On Sunday I will just adjust my goggles & say that cnut hill was f'ing steep.

I had better enjoy this one because in the future it is going to cost just a touch over $5000 per year to register my motorcycles (and scooter).

The levy increases proposed are for the ACC component only, add the other levies and then add GST:

    126 - 600 cc bike = $612.33 to register
    601 and over $875.96

Perhaps I will bring my own eats and wait for the rest of you outside Toppy's.

    Michael
Sh*t doesn't just "happen". There is always an a*sehole involved.

I was just working out how many times I've been pulled over by a cop in the last 5 years. Ummmmmmmmmmmmm............zero.

You can guess what I'm going to do if the new ACC bullshit goes through.

I might look out the window when I wake and see what the weather is doing. If it's fine and I can be bothered I might bring the PD in to the Hut.

Snap - still sulking about the weather, and now the ACC levies.
Maybe we could ask the National government to get ACC contributions from Horses and trampolines, both of these cost ACC more than bikes! Bet those National voters are glad for their "change" that they voted for, not even going to mention those tax cuts

Why not register the rider/ cos you can only crash one at a time.
