Ok I think I have a solution to the fiasco that has happened here. K/B has grown big. That’s a good thing.
So why don’t we make sub headings under Rides and events for each region. IE Hawkes Bay . Then put Subheadings in each region. Ie Rides and events, rant and rave etc.?
That would fix the problems we currently have and address the issue that people have with not being able to find the rides for their or others regions? Tony has made a great job of the Hawkes Bays new forum site.
That way every region can have stickys for organised regular rides and new entry’s for one off rides.
K/B could have an area for national rides. Ie the South Island ride and the K/B North Island ride.
So what do the Moderators think of this idea? It would be prudent to consider it and IMHO it would work very well. Appoint a moderator to each regional heading to work only in that thread.

Time for us HBers to have a face-to get together and talk about the ACC bs and formulate some ideas of what we should do to respond here in the Bay?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Hey Wickle - you want the stripes on your tank over or under the clear?

I have offered to help co-ordinate protests over ACC levies in HB.
Watch this space folks...I will be asking for help in this.

    So never say never!
Maybe you should get your facts RIGHT before you open your mouth/keyboard Shirley !

The jet sprint track hasnt been at Manfeild for 5 years!

And I have seen ducks at manfeid MANY times myself, I have even had to ride around them while racing ! Have you?

Do you actualy read what people say on here before you post or do you just post to prove you are right(while completely ignoring the facts) ?

The boys here are all running Pilot Road 2's, so decided to try them out.

Personally, they seem to grip well, even in the wet, as I managed to ride bit quicker than some in the rain, and I never lost confidence in them.

Certainly a tyre I would recommend as they tend to stick as well as my favourite Pirrellis.

Sometimes you gotta try something, but the boys all rave about the PR2's, and now, so do I

    Pirelli Diablo Strada
The Pirelli Diablo Strada is a radial tyre designed for sports tourers, with a surprisingly broad spectrum of applications. Build as a distance/touring tyre, the Diablo Strada can sit as happily on a hypersports bike as middleweight commuter. With a high silica compound the tyre warms quickly and repels water well. In line with its roots as a touring tyre, the Pirelli Diablo Strada's has a tread that is cut 25% deeper than the Diablo for longer tyre life.

There are 4 different types of Diablos: Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa Pro; Pirelli Diablo Strada ; Pirelli Diablo H and Diablo ZR; Pirelli Diablo Corsa III!!!!!!!!!!

The Diablo H (now HR) and ZR dont exist anymore !!!!!!

There are 9 Diablo's , 2 race , 6 road , and 1 scooter . Why post out of date info to prove you are right?

    Pirelli Diablo Strada
The ideal tyre for people who love long touring journeys, but don’t want to sacrifice the sporty side of riding.

    • Co-designed front and rear design, to guarantee a sporty performance on all kinds of roads.
    • Functional and distinctive front and rear tread design to maximise water dispersal.
    • High Grip compound to guarantee constant performance through the long life of the tyre.

But Jason, it doesn't really matter.... that is my opinion, and yes, they have to produce in different sizes, as bikes have different size wheels. I understand that too.

Didnt you notice the slow turn in and weaving at low speed and on changing road surfaces?

I bet it handled just awesome with a worn out ex race/tour tyre with the sides worn off and a 180 on a rim designed for a 160 ...........NOT

I wasn't going to reply to your post's Shirley bit they really ruffled my feathers(excuse the pun) and didnt run like water off a ducks back this time.

I dont rate your technical knowledge for giving advice to other riders on here or anywere , It COULD cause a accident if a newbee does what you say

PS The last time you were at Manfeild strada,s MAY have been used as a race tyre , but they are a tour tyre like I said !!!

Rant over , carry on as usual
    Thanks

What I reckoned would happen has happened here. There are so many threads it is imposable on dial up to find, let alone read them. So if there is any protest action on the ACC thingy sorted let us know by PM please cos K/B just isn’t working for me now it is so fragmented. What a fucken cockup this has turned in to. It was find before, now it sucks. For fuck sake. Maybe ACC has taken over here and made it like the other things they run.........

Sorry I didn’t catch up with you on the weekend at the track. Patrick did I think. We had a bad day and broke the bike big time. Bottom end filled the cylinder with steel and then compressed it in to the head while the piston took a smack for good measure. Bent rob and fuck crank. But it was still a good day. Racing is over for us now but it was good to finish with a win in the street stock class for the winter series. We will come along from time to time to cheers you on at the track. Nice to hear you are out and about G. Best I quit now cos it isn’t on topic.. what ever that is……….. FFS
