I'm not trying to get anyone on here to support me. Any motorcyclist that doesn't oppose what ACC are proposing would be rather out of the ordinary.

We need to get the general public to support us. That is the whole idea of media coverage. I feel that there must be a better spokesperson for our cause.
Instead of blowing your trumpet Katman why dont you lead from the front. Step up or fuck up.

Considering its only your second time on telly interviews you're learning fast.

I'm proud of you. You've got my support.
Yeah +2 !!!! Having only just this second seen the close up debate ! (Sorry been busy drinking)!!!
The choice of driving to the interview was outstanding !!!
Helmet hair on a muggy night does nothing for ya TV look Mr Ixion !!
Handsome kiwi bloke doing a handsome job !
Must say the presenter, (Typical media attitude) loved (and prayed apon) you having the good Dr stammering !!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I vote this thread be burned, the ashes ground up, mixed with petrol and burned again.

Arguing about who is or isn't the best pin-up for the battle against the evil acc is rubbish, if the non-motorcyclist public was to read this, what would their impression be ?

United we stand, divided we get bum fucked by acc..

The woman you refer to is a KBer. Perhaps you might take the time to find out her name on here and off if you want her to represent you?

Jeez Steve the way you're going some of these fellas might be considering knocking you back to next week.

Might be time to accept you're pissing in the breeze here...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I thought Ixion was the perfect person to represent us .. who else would you have .. some young fella with no credibility or someone like katman whose every second word is fuck ..

Ixion represents a vast majority of bikers, & spoke well considering the short period .. certainly better than the dr so & so .. didn't know it was suppose to be a beauty contest

Didn't read the whole thread. IMHO I think Ixion did a great job, had the ACC DOCTOR scrambling for words basically the whole way through the VERY SHORT interview. I don't even ride a bike...I still think this situation is ridiculous..
    Well done Ixion.

I just watched the segment on Close Up again and I find it hard to fault Les at all! He got the points across in a clear, orderly fashion, where the ACC guy kept stumbling and repeating himself. I sure as hell couldn't have done that well speaking to an audience of 10 people off air, let alone a nation on live tv!

Sorry for not being as 'bright' as you would like Steve but............

Is not a motorcyclist, passionate about motorcycling, who represents motorcyclists, who is willing to stand up and be counted, front a TV camera on live national television, who is able to think on his feet and give valid constructive rebuttal not good enough in your book then?
