Yes, sure. I was a on my L-plate when I first went on the Wed eve rides - good fun, good company.

See if you can get to the Duck Pond a few minutes early to give yourself plenty of time to chat to other riders - it's amazing what you can learn!!

Dammit, i've got my 1st exam tomorrow but i so wanna come, never been on a group ride either..

So do i listen to the devil saying go anyway, you'll be sweet for the exam? Or do i study at home like a good little boy? Dammit choices, choices...

As a uni student, I think you should probably be studying...there will be other weeks.

Although, if you study hard all of today you probably deserve a rest before your exam...

READ the Group Ride Guide

Wednesday's hardly evere get the full 'leader, TEC' deal BUT there is a lot of technique and relevant stuff in there you need to understand before joining in a group of more experienced riders

If you are a new rider and would like a TEC or a mentor, speak up at the gathering, many will offer help (and many will just burn off and leave ya to it

)

its not a bad thing for L plate riders....I am a L-plate rider and I go along when I am not working....I wont be there this week but will def be there next week.

If you are worried bout being left behind etc just speak up and let people know

Yeah, good point, I read it when it first get published but I've pretty much forgotten it by now!

p.s. Hah, I remember my first group ride - it was with the Thrusday guys!!! The slowest bike there was a 600 and I had my little VTZ250 & L-plate

Come along - i'd be glad to ride with ya (actually Im bringing the little 250 and need some friends!!)
