I reckon it'll be raining stickets AT KiwiGs PLACE IN OH ABOUT TEN MINUTES FROM NOW!
I see a ransom demand looming. A few stickets, a fridge magnet or two a coffee cup and a maybe even a T shirt no doubt I will have to insist on regular health and welfare status reports to ensure the kidnap victim remains unharmed

That is very clever. Did you find a web site that did that or did you do it the hard way?

not sure about the ducati compatability on the starter motor although
its quite possible, i think non return bearing sprag type is how you'd
describe this starter clutch...thinking it could be compaitble with other
suzuki models....maybe gsx250 etc but as yet have been unable to
    find a match

Don't just limit your search to Suzukis mate.
i did a bit of hunting around when mine shat itself awhile back.
The stater clutch is an independently manufactured part.
I have a clutch from a smaller GS, which is the same as one used some Kwakas, on my 1000. It is physically smaller than the OEM one,but the PCD and the centre diameter are the same. It works perfectly. Not sure about the gear though.

    Raglan ride

Sunday was a great day thanks guys. Great roads and good tucker at the cafe. Bloke coming the other way on the crusier who failed to make the corner was a lucky boy. Got ya message psy - no worries bit of stuff up just tired and not thinking. GS is running well now - carb jetting is in the ballpark now. "Quo.

It is real good to hear that you finally have your carbs sorted. That must have been some kind of record

Good to see you again Quo. When you ride with us the bike behaves, glad to hear it continued to do so after the ride this time. New exhaust looks, and after following you a wee ways, sounds lovely
