    Talking a good turn out of concerned motorcyclists

    OK todays 'pipe opener' was really worthwhile - Labour MPs showing their support - Annette King - husband is a biker, Charles Chauvel, Chris Hipkins etc -good camaraderie among those attending this orderly show of concern.

    Get those submissions in before 10/11 - no time for apathy - this affects us all - National Bikoi on Tuesday 17 /11 - see you there

    Went to the protest ride, couldn't help but notice, in pride of place in front of Parliament Building, nothing less than an '08 KLR! Was tempted to go and park next to it.
    Annette King (MP for Rongatai) husband rides, so maybe that was his bike - guess you would have to have a fair degree of clout to be allowed to park there. It is certainly the right colour for a Labour MP to be seen on.

    yep it was Annettes HUsbands Bike, i saw them ride off into the sunset, or was that the medias flash, anyway, an MP not on a Cruiser, makes me happy she's my MP

    I'll be on the boys new ride, so I need to check it out properly.
    What do you recomend ?
    Will be @ the airport about 9 and gotta be @ the ferry @1

    easiest from there would be red rocks, just down the road from the airport.

    You're really on the wrong side of things to go over to the Wairarapa.

    yeah like i nearly did last weekend...can get soft down there, but stay away from the water and keep some speed up you'll be fine.
