Its where you kiss the pavement!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

It was this hairpin. Now even more notorious. Shown here so it doesn't catch anyone else out.

Odd, isn't it. The distance that GiJoe covers around the country... in camoflage? All the fuss about Hi-Viz gear...

Who was the rider at the rear, 2-up, top box, and hazards going. Just after Tristram Ave (heading south) there was a car right up your arse and NOT liking the idea of sensible following distances??
Sorry mate. You waving me through wasn't going to happen.
Dropping in behind you and signalling this tosspot to fall back, then slowing him away from you guys just had to be done.
I think he got the message.

A lot of that was neccesary unfortunately ( I did that 3 or 4 times to try help everyone regroup) I just don't get what's going on in the cage drivers heads when they suddenly decide the most appropriate place to drive is within the convoy of bikes

They are fucking oblivious. There was some tosser who slotted into the bikes in a piece of shit Honda Shoe car.Even though the bikes were doing 50 kmh and the cars in the middle lane were passing us,he still wanted to be in the fast lane.

And what about that POS wobbly red caravan at 60kph in the fast lane at Mount Wellington. He must have been crapping himself. I felt a bit sorry for the bloke though, stuck out there not knowing what the hell to do, as we trundled past. At least he didnt pull out on us like that idiot in the silver people mover in the jam behind the black Terrano just before the north western link from the northern. I saw see the look on her face too. I reckon almost of the folk in cars were really good and let us roll.
