Well had my first outing this arvo around some metal roads between Hams and Rags, all went well no dramas
, sprocket holding nicely so far.
Hopefully get down and around the 42nd after chrissy.
Certainly great to get back on a light bike again, had the tank close to full to see what she was like all weighted over the front wheel and i was pleased with how planted she was yet still responsive, a lot easier to correct after a stuff up than the Big....
Theres a few little things in the set up i'l do to make her better for me, and will look at a more aggressive front tyre like E-09. i dont think the T63 gonna last long on the rear.
just gotta get the new shaft put inand walla, bushpig complete.
Hopefully all sorted by next winter so i can get into some mud slinging

Good that you've got it sorted for now at least... you got to enjoy it this time of year.
The Strom is going well - very competent and good performance. I've done a bit of gravel and some dirt tracks but at very sub-crazy speedsI don't want to hurt my new panniers (or myself). Not the hoon-factor of the XR in the gravel but you get there.
I've just ridden down to Masterton and she's gone fantastic really - quite capable of 140km cruising (but of course I don't do that)
Enjoy that big single![]()

In all seriousness just get a KTM 525 and all your adventure dreams can come true. oh and you can do Trail rides, motocross and even road race it too.
