    Hi Ryan,

What's the plan? Are they for sale?

We normally buy them at the Friday evening BBQ/gathering/thing where I think we'll also get the low down on paying the Black Forrest toll, gate padlock combination and any other small details as such etc.

Thats the one. Perfect opportunity for me to remind everybody of some costs of the ride.
    • Stickers are $5 each
    • Black forest toll is $10 each bike. I'll be collecting this on the Friday night and dropping it in on my way through on Saturday before the main bunch arrives.

I'll be holding an informal briefing at the BBQ around 7pm ish and will confirm the Black Forest padlock combo then.

    Cheers R

P.S. Those packing already - less is more! I'm sure most take way to much! Also squash the air out of dry bags before doing them up.

hey R I've not been following the thread & not sure it you're going over the Nevis, I went over today 2up : & the water xings were 1/2 mtr average & there were 25 of them, if there has been rain up there in the last few days the xings are high, so if you are doing this part would pay to check a couple days before

but a must to do when ya can

    cheers

I can offer a secure place for people to dump their un-needed gear for the duration of the DB (in my Dad's workshop).

If you need it just let me know and I can organise a time fri night/sat am for you to leave your gear there.

And where would this workshop be? Fairlie I presume?

Yes, the workshop is in Fairlie, behind the petrol station on the main street.
