    Assumtions II

Standing in line at the local Four Square earlier, Anne 'crutched' away towards the car while I payed for the supplies. Bloke behind me said '' your good lady on crutchers with an injury and you own a Motorbike, was it a Motorbike accident''?

I was wearing a Triumph T-Shirt....I do not know this dude but the assumtion was made anyway. Thank god I wasn't wearing my Holden T-Shirt, he might have thought Anne fell out the door.

Should have just said "She had an accident using my big deck"...
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My signature is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my signature is useless. Without my signature, I am useless.

I can really relate to that one. I have a pronounced limp due to being born with a club foot - I'm forever being asked 'how long ago did you come off the bike?'

With a Holden T-shirt he would have assumed she fell down the stairs as per normal say...

Yes, a lot of assuming folk about. I suppose it's better they ask though instead of going on assuming they know everything.

It's the New Zealand way: "I can't do that so why should a motorcyclist be able too."

To which my answer would be: you can - buy a motorcycle and put up with the negatives along with the positives you get.

Fuck off.We know what is being discussed here. The one driver in a hundred that thinks it is funny to do something dangerous to "scare" another driver HE thinks is doing something wrong.

Are you going to re-open this 'assumptions' thread every 12 months??

Or is that just an assumption on my part?
