I can say with 95% certainty that they will indeed! I had to do my seals when I had one....
I'm am 99% certain the sprockets are the same... When I suggested it to the guys at the Honda shop, they laughed, and said, you are talking about Honda here....
What they didn't realise I had a mate with a VT and we compared lots of parts... Mainly for my benefit, as the VT was more common.

I'm guessing roadracingoldfart, will be along here shortly and confirm my suspicions that for us

What he said. Should be no problem. However, I'd recomend not buying genuine seals, get accessory ones. Same with the bearings.

    Cool. Was looking at:

    Front wheel bearing
    Rear wheel bearing
    and
    Fork and Dust seals
    or
    Just fork seals

Not sure if i will need the dust seals (probably seeing as its been sitting for a while.)

Yup, might as well get new dust seals.
No point pulling apart your forks twice......

Oh, and I reckon SKF could do you the same bearings for that price in NZ dollars... Well, by the time you add freight.... I might be wrong though.

Saeco (sp) or SKF are the action for bearings, pull the old ones out, take em in, they'll match em with high quality items for sweet FA.

Dust seals don't need replacing unless they're visibly fucked, they do nothing really really except what the name suggests.

Will have a look at them and see what I can find. (suppose it's better to support local businesses anyway)

I think the oil feed only had 3 pipes and didnt feed the like the RGV, I run the MVX on 30 to 1 to get it going and bleed the pump and lines, Dont know what the pumps are like for reliabity.
I had a LC road bike on pre mix , bit of a pain if your going further than a tank full

BFTP is you mate, Im getting my Road LC ready for Taumarnui this weekend, 1st BFTP Rally. Heaps of 70s and 80s bikes, wont be many 17inch wheels lol

    So!

About time I updated this! Had a few things come up over the last year (aka life) finally got some money/time together again - surprising what happens with no woman around

So i got onto the bike today, stripped it down, took the carbs off, they were rusty as hell inside somehow, so got my spare carbs (which were in good condition) gave them a good clean and put them on. Got some spark plugs, topped up the 2T oil, bridged the ignition switch. Gave her a few kicks and away she went.

Sounded amazing, incredibly loud, was surprised I didn't have any neighbors coming over telling me to shut the f#%@ up.

    Anyway, video for reference:

Well, just got the bike moving (clutch operating etc). Not without a neighbour about 100m down the road coming and complaing it was too loud, so i put my spare pipes on which are a lot quieter.

But anyway, here is the latest progress video:
