when i brought my 9fidy it came with a yucky cut down screen.
i was lucky enough to find a factory screen in NZ,,
so, with the CCA on this weekend and im going to try my luck and not fall off, i wasnt to keen to have my good screen on...dont want to damage it.
so i went down to the glass shop and picket up a free off cut or clear 4mm plastic... set about bending it in to shape with the heat gun and, im quite pleased with the out come..

its now a full size screen.
    what ya think..

Why not just leave it short? it's not as if it's long open road distances.

A question for this branch of the forum.

I am contemplating selling or trading in my '06 990 Adventure. Its done about 29k has a full service history. Used for a couple of trips around NZ and commuting. Its in excellent condition with full Hepco and Becker luggage. How much do you guys think it's worth?

dont know yet, definately not a BMW. Just dont need 990cc for commuting. I love the KTM, the riding position the power basically the whole package, but its hard to justify such a great bike when I ride it 3 days a week for an hour a day.

Can provide photos later on. Its anthracite, not orange.... Pirelli Scorpians, new last year.

    Would appreciate suggestions for alternatives....

after cleaning the bike from the CCA i noticed a split in the rear header pipe, so removed and had it repaired, it had split around the bolt area.

but the crazy thing is, to get this piece out i had to do this to the bike...

    what a mission that was..
