Ok leaving you all to your ranting about cunty hill...NOW

    ciao
Haha 29 pages already and they reckon you were wasting a page of the thread. Has that man of yours still got a dirt bike he could lend you to mount the hill?
    Cheers

which represents a couple of failed attempts and one success - with a total of 3 bikes to the top
so thats slightly less than 10 pages per bike to the top...

will you join us for a bit of fun on the next run Merv? - the ride in is great and the lower levels of the hill would be fun on your XR or WR

Ha ha I have since looked at footage of said hill and have determined it is relatively unlikely that I would make it up

We do however have a ratti run about dirtbike that's a bit of fun - though I fear it wouldn't have quite the number of horses required to do the job....and Sully-ones TTR50 probably wouldn't cut it either

Of our group - Bart got his DR to the top with Joe pushing. I got my DT to the top with lots of offs and push starts from Andy and Andy rode to the top all the way without stopping making it look easy on his WR250

There is an awesome ride out to the coast - simply brilliant - return time is about an hour and a half

I think you'd have a reasonable chance of getting up but you would probably need to lower the gearing on the KLR and have a decent knobbly.

Slippery went over last saturday on his 1200 GS
Life shouldnt end at the grave well presented but rather, slide in sideways totally worn out yelling "shit that was a great ride!"

Yikes I'm very impressed. That man must have very big balls or bank account to risk damaging such an expensive bike.
    Is Slippery = James S?

No Andy very modified GS The guys name Joel Simonsen from Denmark, has lots of cash and bikes.
James S and Pete did have a look from the bottom of the hard bit reacently but decided that tourences would be pushing it a bit.

Seems like its been toppled by a bike bike
Would have loved to have been the first on the DR, but the rain put paid to me even seeing the beasty last time
My only hope now is that the GS made it after several crashes, lots of pushing and with a lengthened swingarm and paddle tyres
If so, its game on again
If he glided up cleanly - I'm selling my bike

Although, like the tree that falls over in the woods and doesnt make a sound, if theres no one there to photograph it and post it on Kiwibiker does it count?

I'm saying not, and keeping my bike

So lets be clear as to what you are saying. IF there are photos of this hillclimb by Slippery, & IF they are posted, THEN you will be selling your bike.

    Brave posting that man....
IT'S JUST BETTER WHEN THERE'S TWINS INVOLVED..
