I don't know STJim, but you're another muppet who seems to confuse spelling problems with a lack of intelligence and/or ability. I'm biased of course as we have a son who's spelling is crap. Oh, and he has 2 degrees and has a top job in healthcare He relies on a spell checker too!

I don not think that the ability to spell is indicative of intelligence, I think it's the first indication that someone who is intelligent is just fucking lazy. There are rules to writing the language we speak, and although it is one of the hardest languages to learn second, someone raised speaking it who attends university should have a decent handle on it.
