Well that's just fine with me, I prefer coffee and toast anyway!
I can vouch fo the shoei /airoh head thing. tried both and they fit my oversized melon very well. The only other brand that seems ok is FFM. The sizez, e.g. xl vary so much between brands.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
I'm selling my Arai Tour-X helmet which has been great in every aspect for adv riding, but it's just a fraction too small for me, so I'm gonna get a larger one. More than happy with everything it does and doesn't seem to buffet much in the wind.

Thanks for the Airoh info, I will probably not follow that up now, seeing as a Hornet is $900 new here and I'm a tight arse has anyone fitted a peak to a road helmet?
My XR1000 does everything well except for provide shade into the sun so surely if I get a peak and use an adhesive to fix it on there can't be any degredation of the helmet shell....or am I missing something?

Thanks for the ideas, I just had a play with the helmet and don't see a reasonable way of making it work and retaining an openable visor, the Andy strapz idea is ok but i quite often ride with visor open at speed so it wouldn't work for me......back to buying the real thing it seems.
Yup, the SuperVisor suits me. It's not overly large, doesn't catch the wind, can ride at highway speeds with visor up with minimal effect, and with visor open an inch or so for good ventilation with no effects. I commute into the sun in the morning, and into it AGAIN at the finish of workMine is fitted to a Nolan 102 flip front helmet. Might look a bit dorky but it works well IMHO.
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!![]()
