That doesn't mean the were breaking the speed limit. The speed limit on the motorway is (usually) 100kph. They were lane splitting. A small handful of riders split faster than 100kph . But they are very few. It is beyond reasonable probability that three would have been caught at once

Unless you subscribe to the common police notion that the speed limit is whatever they decide to make it.

I don't know who the cops are pulling over, i do over 700km a week on the motorway and hardly see any cops on the motorway unless there is a crash.

Someone who can deduce that because a cop is using a radar gun, then anybody who is stopped must necessary have been breaking the speed limit is either (a) a cop; (b) of intellect insufficient to understand the illogic of his position , and therefore pointless to debate with.

The OP specifically says "motorway". The speed limit on the bridge is 80kph. On the Motorway (cue, motorway - get it) it is 100kph. Reference to the South side is irrelevant, the thread is entitled North Shore Biker Cops. The North Shore , surpisingly, is on the (wait for it ) North shore.

It's 80kph for a (little) bit before the bridge, Onewa Road on ramp leads straight in to the 80kph area and that isn't directly on to the bridge so to speak. So, I would say that BTB was correct in what he said about that.

I could post quadruple the number of motorbike pictures wrapped around trees, poles, through fences.

The answer is simple (removing all the Bull Shit) - If you speed, you are breaking the law and may suffer the consistences if caught.
If you speed, you increase your risk of hurting or killing yourself or someone else!!!

If you are happy with that then I would never be happy riding anywhere near you.
