Yes it sure is isn't it? Still, good to learn these things at a young age I reckon. o.K - that's me trying to put a positive spin on it all. I'll give up while I am ahead!

Stupidest thing? Allowing the hurt to make me hold back in future relationships. The invocation is to ... "Love like you've never been hurt". Sorry. Can't do it.

Hmmm, perhaps not fighting to save a relationship! Took her to the airport, gave her a hug and kiss....................The end.

Great chick, but there were things she needed to do (OE) and I wasn't part of that.

Plus I probably wouldn't be in my current happy place if things had been different.

Hurt myself so bad I ended up calling an ambulance on myself.
    Lolstupid.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

Here's a true story to make you laugh.

About a month after I broke up with a girlfriend (from a two year relationship) she phoned me in tears.

Her: "I'm in a really bad position and I need you to loan me $10,000.
Me: "Oh shit. That sounds bad. What's the problem babe?"
Her: "I can't tell you. But if you still have any feelings for me, you'll know you can trust me. I'll pay it back."
Me: "No worries. I'll transfer the money tonight, so you should see it in your account tomorrow morning. "

After three months I gave her a call and asked her about getting some repayments for the "loan"

Her: "What do you mean? You know my situation. I can't pay it back!"
    Me: #@$!
The greatest pleasure of my recent life has been speed on the road. . . . I lose detail at even moderate speed but gain comprehension. . . . I could write for hours on the lustfulness of moving swiftly.

Stupidest thing I have done after the break up? Not finding a way to move out of the place we own together. Still living under the same roof til it sells and it's near impossible to do and keep it civil. Even harder to cope with than actually breaking up.
Shit Katiepie that don't sound like a picnic to me. I would go mental in that situation.

Oh dear - yes not the cleverest thing to do. But it's crazy what break ups can cause us to do! It's hard to see all the positives from it all especially at the time, but it is a great feeling when you finally stop thinking about the ex partner, and start planning your life all over again.

Nope - no picnic at all. And yes - going very very mental indeed. Stupid stupid thing to do - would never recommend it to anyone.

BUGGA! Yep - pretty stupid. Easy to say that now though, as at the time I'm sure it was a "sensible" thing to do.

Actually, most of the stupid shit I've done has happened before, and led to, the breakup.

When I was young and stupid of course.

    Now I'm older and stupid.

I was young (and to be honest, just cracked 20), I didn't care about consequences obviously, but yet I am still here, MAKING LOTS OF NOISE AND... LOTS OF NOISE

Perfect timing? Interests in common such as motorcycles? If it works out, I get an invite to all the parties and free beer perhaps?
