Rough it to the Burt Munro - what do I need to take?

Looking to do the Burt Munro this November, tent, sleeping bag, one change of clothes, wallet entry ticket.
whoops almost forgot toothbrush, .....bugger -camera , that reminds me ...cell phone
another....... puncture repair kit... that reminds me a small first aid kit might come in handy.

Oh yeah a cap to keep the sun off my balding head.

Maybe a Aspirin or 3 to cure the hangover they don't take up much room do they!

Any one who's been there, got a list of necessaries for a few days all the way down south?
I started to think about a list but I'm starting early so I don't forget.

How about a map-book and a six pack of Steinlager , just in case you get thirsty when you're stopped in the middle of nowhere ....?

    Only trying to help .........

The dude on the quad is a legend !!

Looks cool. Now I'm going to take my 1150GS up Dyers Pass and get a good run up so I can skim Lyttelton Harbour and get to Diamond Harbour without dropping a set.

Oh, don't worry about taking a hat to keep the sun off. The event is being held in Invercargill.

Take some stuff to fend off Tim, he's the mayor down there, and e's a nutter.
