Wednesday Night Ride

Ok it must be Monday.

This weeks route.

BK, Colombo, Dyers Pass, Summit Rd, Evans pass, Port, round the bays, to Pourau and back to the Wheatsheaf.

If there is enough daylight left at pourau some might want to tackle the Port Levy road, it has plenty of twisties, but could be a real challenge in the dark.

I'm going to skip the whole summit road - evans pass waste of time shebang and just nick through the tunnel.

anyone who wants to join is more than welcome.

actually fuck the bays, they're creeping with grit, I'll go over dyers.

Pity Godley House is still dead. You could take public transport that far.

Did round the bays and up Evans tonight. Some gravel patches (unmarked) and potholes between Governors and Lyttelton. Evans seemed fine apart from the 30k section.

yeah summit is shit, let's flag that, evans pass and the bays from lyttelton to govenors bay (evans and the bays until road works are finished and cleaned up)

So I'll be leading a ride over dyers pass, to diamond harbour, turn around and go back over gebbies and stop at the taitapu pub.

I'll do a stop across the road from the wheatsheaf, diamond harbour, then finally at the taitap pub.
