    Fail. x2.

    VIN is on record and won't match. Dragging brake is a no-no.
    Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    i have never had any issues with vtnz failing my vehicles for anything other that safety issues. i have had worse bullshit a shady place failing steering rod ends (have subsequently found out he fails about 1/2 the cars thru on this point and 'only' charges $120 to replace it) and engine mounts (also found out he can supply new engine mounts for 'cheap') - he no longer has his WOF ticket for some reason.....

    just get your bike legal and get a proper wof ffs.

    Are you trying to pass a wof on a bike that has obvious defects and claiming that it's just tax revenue if they don't pass?

    Pretty sure most won't charge you twice for a wof if you get it fixed and take it back to the same place within a certain time period. Not sure how that is collecting tax.

    Rather than moaning about things which are of your own making, why don't you try presenting a bike with no defects at the WOF shop and see how easy it really is.

    I won't use VTNZ for my bike any longer...not because of failing or any safety concerns for my bmw, but because they don't have the gear to do it. Caught the last guy trying to jimmy up some way of jacking up the rear to test the brakes without the proper gear (or knowing how to use it) and it was looking like he was going to do damage / or drop it so I put a stop to it.

    Total fuckwits.

    I take my real bikes (Ducati /Honda) to real motor cycle shops for WOF

    Haldanes /AMPS

    ..because I want MC guys who properly understand, check it out and is a safe ride.

    BTW: they both have fairly noisy pipes so I wouldnt want grief (from someone who doesnt understand)

    I take my Vespa scoot to VTNZ Parnell and they do an adequate job that I am comfortable with.

    WOF = Safety Check
    REG = Tax

    Just don't get a WOF if you have a problem with getting a safety check done, it's your life.

    Can't you determine yourself whether it's safe or not? It's only as safe as your ability and I definitely wouldn't be riding a Ducati if I didn't know how to 'check it out'. Had your valves done yet?

    I don't know who is the biggest retard - you or the inspector who passed a faulty bike.

    Feel free to ride away from Auckland so I don't become collateral when you crash due to blatant errors you're too cheap to fix.

    Fucking idiot.

    Come on guys I'm just taking the piss here. You guys are stupid if you think I want to ride till the oil is gone from the fork and and my brake rotors warp and calipers seize stuck.

    But it's really just fucking bureaucracy you gotta jump through in order to avoid getting ticketed.

    No, what WOF inspections are actually supposed to be about is trying to stop retards operating faulty vehicles on the roads that others have to share with them.

    yea you got it "supposed to be about". What they are however is just profit for those who do them.
