Rather slow down on suspicion than end up as strawberry jam.

If they see you slowing down and they go then they still deserve to be *555 or their door kicked or what ever.

I had a wank this morning and this afternoon.

I have now made this thread worth opening.

Shit happens and people make mistakes. You got cut off, deal with it tough guy.... I hope it's not all shoulder armour or someone may get out of their car and deal to you.

I hope you also mentioned to *555 that you followed them and tried to intimidate them, you already are guilty of road rage right there.

I cannot believe something so trivial is getting so much support. I commute a lot now and fuck me if I acted like this everytime shit happened i'd never get anywhere.

Edit, I just read it was a girl, and you were relying on your 'tough jacket' to scare her.....what a fucken hero. Try that shit with me boy and i'll rip your head off your shoulders you fucken bully.

    What you did was worse.

She made a mistake, which she will probably learn from, which of-course you have never done eh? You however deliberately followed a young girl and tried your best to scare her. Where's the fucken glory in that? Why are you knobs supporting that? Are you tough guys that scare girls too? She may have tried to run away and in turn lost control, you already knew she was a bad driver and you then tried to escalate things....what does that make you?

I think I gave you green rep, be assured that was an accident.

and this is why i refuse to filter to the front at lights, no matter how far back i am. luckily, we dont seem to have many red light runners here, except for the psychlists. have seen a couple sneak through on the tail end of the orange, but not reds.

I had a guy wait until I was in the roundabout when he pulled out on me! He actually watched me enter the roundabout and then pulled out - then he slammed on his brakes trying to get me to run in to him. The best part was when he and his mates were giving me the finger and wanking signs.
Sadly for him, he was in his signwritten work van I had the road, time of day, make, model and rego of the van. So when I emailed a complaint to the company - they were concerned enough to call me at work - they wanted to know if I wanted to take legal action. I was told that the guys were contractors and will probably lose their jobs over this. I just wanted them to be warned. The company spokesperson was spitting tacks he was so angry.

Dangerous and stupid way to have a laugh aye?

Anyway the moral of the story is people are always going to do dumb things - so expect it and live to ride another day........

    Wanks are never accidental.

Good on you for keeping your cool.... my luck, happened when I sat my full, except she stopped just in time... I just smiled and kept going... but normally I would have just shook my head in disgust.

I'm sorry I don't share the benefit of your experience, as the title says it was my "First cutoff". It's not like I sat at home thinking, now how am I going to approach this when it happens... Yes I followed her for a bit, I didn't know what else to do. I needed some time to mull it over and think what to do, hence the thumbs up and drive away after 60 seconds behind them.

A mistake is not nearly killing someone. Especially since I'm not used to people trying to kill me yet, though I'm sure more biking will eventually get that into my knoggin.

It's amazing that you can rant like that and not have road rage though... Must hide your anger while you ride very well. Note: not releasing emotional frustration has extremely detrimental effects on your mental health...

And yes it is all shoulder armour, I'm a short scrawny 18 year old that looks like he's 15 so intimidation is more a wishful thought than a true exposition of my ability to scare. Though that usually means any testoreroned up guy who wants to give me a whack doesn't want to risk getting charged with assault on a minor. You say if I follow you after you cut me off you'll get out of your car and road rage me?! What is this hypocrisy?!

Get your hand off it. Exaggeration much?! She fucked up, I highly, highly doubt she looked at you and thought it would be fun to nearly take you out, she did'nt see you, that is a mistake. Your actions were deliberate.

There's a difference between venting and just not letting something upset you to the point of a psychotic rage, especially something so common. You will die of a stroke far before I do if such minor things are that upsetting to you. Point is mate, this stuff will happen to you a lot, car bike or firetruck with flashing lights and siren blaring, people will cut you off in all of the above because they don't look. It's not personal, it's just a lapse of concentration. Everyone including myself is guilty of it. Your day will be far better when you just shake your head and carry on, trust me.

Nope, I would pull over and ask you what the fuck your problem is, chances are I would'nt have cut you off, if I did, I know i'm not perfect, i'd apologise and get on with life, whilst telling you to get on with yours.
The reason for me berating you is because you think you're a big tough guy chasing little girls (i'm hoping you may not again after thinking it over).

If you are that worried about your physique, go to the gym, it may relieve some of that pressure off your swelling head, and do something more constructive for your ego, not being cheeky, you actually can bulk up if you put in the work-you only have one life man make it count.

In all honesty, you really need to not let these things set you off, the sooner you stop the better your life will be. Life really is'nt worth that, and you will do the same to others yourself, remember that next time you feel like raging up-that you too have made fuck-ups similar and when you did you felt like a real dick at the time.....it's no different for anyone else.

You must have seen other people nutting out before and thought to yourself 'what a psycho'! You don't really want to be that guy, wev'e all done it. Just don't do it again.

In the case somewhere above where it blatantly was done on purpose, then I fully support that action for the record, as that was deliberate.

For the record for those of you who are wondering, *555 does'nt do anything, your call gets answered downstairs in a who seperate room from the police commcen. The driver gets enough complaints they get a letter. That's it. Just incase you were wondering.

I'm just a motorist making sure the car driver learnt her lesson. If I just drove off she might have thought it was just another traffic occurence she needn't worry about and have an "ooo clumsy me" moment. If I give her a little longer to think about it then it'll be more likely to stick in her memory and therefore she'll have learnt to "Think Once, Think Twice, THINK BIKE!"

Gyms contain jocks, jocks have the biggest egos and the dumbest minds. Not that it's their fault that all that goes on in their head is "run, run, run, run, row, row, row, row, protein, protein, run, run, run"

I'm in no way worried about my physique nor do I want to "bulk up", I have better things to do with my time than repetitive boring exercise.

It didn't set me off, I followed, thumbs upped, and left. Did you read some non-existend statement about me raping and pillaging her family?!

I see your point, but I didn't think I was nutting out by following someone? It sounds like you think I took a baseball back I mounted to the side of my bike to smash in their car more than just go down a few streets in which I might have been genuinely riding along to go to my house.

And as said when I stopped next to them I gave them the thumbs up, letting them know no hard feelings and that I was ok

I have thought over what you have said, but I still don't think I would change what I did. Kudos to you for the way you deal with "wanks" as you say, but I'd much rather develop what suits me best rather than copy your "shake and go".

You still seem to be coming across with some kind of sexism, I don't know if your doing that intentionally... but "tough guy chasing a little girl" it sounds as though you wouldn't give as much of a shit if the driver had been a guy... I wasn't trying to be tough, I was trying to make sure she didn't do it again. Is that really such a bad thing to do?

Unfortunately it's not only teenage motorcyclists who think they're the man by intimidating women.

I woud have done the same if it was a man, and I'm sure that guy would have to. I didn't do it because I get off intimidating some chick... Didn't think that people still thought that way, else I would have said person instead of woman.

When something like that happens you don't go thinking "oh that's a woman so now I'm going to go and hound her"

But if you treat chicks a certain way cause they're ladies then go back to what ever era you crawled out from.

Yeah, you keep telling yourself that.

As I said in the other thread, if it had been a gang member you'd have quietly shit your pants.

Now that is a "scary" thread.

My bike is my only transport, if I got wound up everytime I got cut up, cut off or not seen I would have had a heart attack by now. It is frustrating, it can be a cause of anger at times but breath deep, concentrate on riding and let it go, I do now, reflect on it later when you are at home (don't go and kick the cat aye... uuum on second thoughts ...)
