i can agree with that one from my own experience of over taking a car on my R1 that was doing 60 kph in a 70 kph zone, by the time i got to the front of it when mister plod clocked me i was doing in exess of 40 plus kph over the limit,

The posters that tell you to suck it up are just the ones that regularly bend over for any official's pleasure because they are too gutless or stupid to stand up for themselves. In other words good kiwi blokes.

I suggest you write a letter and ask how the speed was determined. If it was by a microwave device then defend the case as you have a good arguement that the reading was false if there were other vehicles in the beam.

If it was just a cop's guess, better still. These fuckers need to be reigned in.

    pps

    you always try this excuse

A top Auckland policeman caught speeding yesterday told the officer who stopped him he was tracking a vehicle of "operational interest'' at the time.
The hypocrites are so full of shit these days. The latest is that,in order to make the holiday road toll look better to support the bullshit reduction in speed tolerance, they are saying the latest road death was not a road death at all because the driver may have had a stroke and died before the car crashed.

Yeah and monkeys will fly out of my fragrant arse.

Next they will say some driver died because the radio station he switched to before he crashed gave him a heart attack because the Bay City Rollers were on at the time.

    Wankers

As I've been called a "lunatic" by more than one officer of the law, all I can say is pay the fine as you know you were speeding, and next time you get stopped, get off the bike walk straight to his passenger door and look at the reading on his machine before he even gets out. I've paid $30K in fines since I was 14 years old and that's the biggest thing I've learned from that. Soooooo many times I've been pulled over, the cop walks up to me and says "YOU WERE SPEEDING!", but after checking for myself he could only give me a reg, wof and license ticket . Unless they have evidence or a witness... there F^cked in court

I got my full licence last month
Still no reg or warrant though there over rated anyways

I'm surprised you don't consider a licence of any sort (let alone a Full one) is over rated too....

Must be a lawyer or summat that pays well enough to not care about $30,000 in fines

I just tell the cops I pay $70 a week to speed on our roads. Chuck it on the tab!!! They love it!!
Who cares anyway it's only money. I got another $300 fine on the way to Cemetery circuit and the cop remembered me, my brother and my old man. He actually new my name when I took off my helmet and no I'm no lawyer, they are over rated too.
I have paid them all up to date too if you can believe that, the last payment of $8K was wiped up my arse crack before I handed it over.
Those were the days when I had no license at all, and you had to pay $400 for wrong class of license. Now its only $150!! Pucking Crunts!!!!

Nah just older and just even stupider as you don't seem capable of learning how to avoid paying out anything

Yeah Right, your fines go into the Govt consolidated fund and are used for many purposes of which the money going to Police is a very very small amount.
