You could always bribe the cop. It has worked for me in the past.

Pix or it never happened.
But seriously ... That's a serious thing to allege - and an admission of a criminal offense on your part if true. If not true, then it opens you up to a charge of defamation ... Given that there are police officers on this forum, I'd be a little worried right now if I was you ...
While I have little respect for the police in general, (some respect for individuals) I don't believe you. Our police are many things, but open to bribery is not one of them.

If it happens you wlil have my commiserations - I hated lossing my licence ..
In the meantime, I will laugh my little socks off at your discomfort ... and by the way, I got my licence back on September 2 last year - I currently have 55 demerit points ... at that rate I'll be lucky to still have a licence by Xmas ... One ticket at more than 135 klicks and I'm gone ... (and I've seen greater than that on the speedo three times this week .. despite my best efforts do date at slowing down)

I am currently working on the new Waterview connection and a number of other motorway projects around Auckland and I have visited the NZTA control room based at Smales Farm.
There are over 200 cameras and 1000's of sensors located around Auckland and Wellington. These cameras and sensors and are used to manage 8,000 kilometres of roads and motorways. The police can use these as evidence for speeding and other infringements. They also use it to track offenders running from the police.
So, basically if you are dumb enough to speed on any of the city motorways expect to get caught.
There are a number of people constantly monitoring the activities on the motorways, bus lanes, car parks, tunnels, bridges etc etc etc around the city.
As for calculating speed via cameras, as said previously in this thread... Peice of cake! White markings are at set distances on the motorways, so are many other motorway furniture, just calculate time it took to go from A to B and you have the speed.
What he said.
I would ask for ALL their evidence before giving them my license - as its technically a criminal conviction.
Not sufficient evidence, they can see me in court before they get my license.
And if its BS like "you are on camera going between 2 lamp-posts in 3 frames" - sorry not good enough. Show me your exact maths and my exact speed.
Perspective and Relativity is a magical thing when it comes to electronics.
(of course if its between 2 pressure mats, sensors with camera footage to back up....your fucked)
