Angry Just when you think you are getting back on your feet...

Got a tear-filled call from my wife who is in Wellington for a meeting.

They are dis-establishing the team she works in. Which means the end of her career and the likely end of crucial income needed to live in our home.

After all the crap we have been through getting back on our feet, fighting for our little family and after so much happening since my crash in 2008, this is a bitter kick in the guts.

I have no idea how we will manage from here... heartbreaking.

Life tends to throw crap at us & test us all the time, easy to say but stay as positive as you can. I went through a bad patch last year so just wishing you & your family all the best.

Will wait till the dust settles before I say more about it, but she was a top performing senior business manager for a large organisation.

Perhaps not the time to stick your neck into this.
No compassion, just in for a cheap giggle?
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

    Go. Fuck. Yourself.

EDIT: Not very nice of me to say that...but also, pretty piss poor time to give the guy some shit. Realise this was probably an attempt at being humourous, so take the above with a slight cheeky grin.

No need to throw the toys out of the cot people. I know what unemployment is like when you can't even afford to eat properly. Been there, done that.

Be that as it may, doesn't exactly warrant giving him a bit of shit, dark humor or otherwise.

I would suspect a "top performing business manager for a large organisation" may find herself back in a job fairly soon. I know it's a very stressful time though as there is uncertainty and immediate needs so be assured our thoughts and sympathies are with you and I'm sure if you can give us an idea sometime of the type of job she may be looking for we'll be all eyes and ears for you!

I thought so too, until I realised just what sort of money he is talking about here.

Gutted I am sure, but re-read and do the numbers, and compare to your income.
"I am a licenced motorcycle instructor, I agree with dangerousbastard, no point in repeating what he said."
"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

I know this will sound like a platitude Cam, but honestly I know things happen for a reason. Not a pleasant journey for you guys to travel for some reason, but I am certain it will all work out for you.

Try not to get discouraged. All my positive energy and thoughts are with you. I guess that means I am praying for you *giggle*
