    I googled Mt Greenland and found these photos from a 4wd trip.

    I'd never knock the Brass Monkey, its a good trip no doubt, but not enough seat time for my liking

    @ XF650... The Brass is on my bucket list, and if I hadn't been goin fishing on the Friday I would've been heading south, maybe next year

    I dislike having to choose between two wants...
    I will be staying home so that I may have money saved to get panniers for the Transalp which I want in time for summer.

    Might have to drop the 705's down to 13psi for that stuff.

    Yep. Took it down the pylon track just past Horse Bridge on the right.
    It's nice and light when lifting, pulling, pushing...

    I need a foldable shovel...

    I have an 86 XT tank here if you want to give it a try, might give you a bit more fuel range.

    Might be worth a go. If the mounts are too different I'd go for the XR tank and seat combination I've got as it's a big Acerbis one for a 1981 XR500...

    And looks... Ummm... Red...
