You are insisting that anything that is a performance engine requires constant maintenance. I simply pointed out a couple of bikes that are a) not 2 strokes and b) DONT require constant maintenance, which, as you infer, is a prerequisite for a bike to be classed as a performance bike.
and define 'perform'. you are addressing a basic concept without making any effort to define the actual meaning of what you are trying to say, because you are discussing terms and concepts that are outside the understanding of your mind.
Plenty of four stroke 250's go like stink. As you yourself admit, you know nothing about four strokes, and have never had one, thus you have zero basis from which to ascertain or suggest that 2 strokes are in any way, or outright, superior machines.
Perhaps if you were to go about your life, and take a more humble stance, and take the opportunity to absorb information about concepts, engines and all things of which you have no knowledge, you will be standing on a better platform from which to voice your opinions. But until such time as you have gained at least a basic understanding of the considerably wider world of motorycles than your currently 2-stroke limited understandings, you should really avoid making such broad and proud statements as the ones you have inferred or outright claimed true.
Yer i admitted that, but like i said whats that got to do with me not knowing anything about my bike? And that its beaten up? Nothing aye? So that was js flaming for nothing aye? Lol come on 'bro' im nt here to start shit. But then aye like i said i could smoke u if u were on a yzf250 and me on a rm85 or kx125 i know how u ride makes a big difference. Farr man.
any way Im off to bed, because as they say, theres no point in arguing with a moron, because they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
[QUOTE=tigertim20;[/QUOTE] i know what your saying man i accept wat ur saying but overall as a whole any bike that gets thrashed like fuck and races like fuck wether it be 1000cc or a 250cc Will always require some level of maintenece. That wat i was trying to get at. But with something being of greater performance it may very well need more. No motor is built to be revved at 20000rpms.
Im nt arguing hea man.

So in the end its a pointless argument. We proved nothing. Theres nothing wrong about the fact that something with such performance will require some level of maintence. Whatever bike it be. U cant say after a track day u wouldnt be looking over ur bike. Obviously those of more power may be of some more requirement. if u really wanted to get into things u cant really say somethings of high performance becos no motor is built to be redlined like shit blasting itself at 20000 rpms or wat not. Even an r1 or a dodge tomahawk or something intense.
.
So to add to that its like 250 stock compared to a race 250 obviously the race 250 requires more attention u wouldnt leave it unattended compared to ur stock 250 but wen u whey it uhp....both motors are the same, lets say wea talking two mc19's a race and a stock, the race havn wat bigger carbs with airbox mod or some shit. Both motors will still have the same threshold proving that if u were gna get right into things then no motor is of high performance as they will in the end reach the same threshold. Itd be the same if u were working with bigger bikes. The piston will on move for so long no matter how much other shit u do.
Fuckem' Chance and the fat diesels they road in on...a young fella taking the time these days to ride and fettle a two stroke road bike should be admired, stick to your guns.
Next time any bus driver gives you shit about it just tell them your RGV makes 215BHP per litre (and that was 20+ years ago now)something modern day thous still get nowhere near.If they look at you all funny like just explain to them nicely that it makes for a more fun ride.
I found the RC164 and some turbo CBR, but neither seemed to last for very long. I can forgive the RC, it's a GP bike after all.
Would definitely like an RC164 rep with a CBR engine in it, wouldn't be that fast, but still very cool.
