I wasn't really going to contest it but with the mileage the engine had done - 28,000kms is sweet fuck all and you don’t expect them to fuck out like that – especially when it is well maintained and ridden like a nana - I just couldn't bend over and take it up the arse. Although that was the final outcome anyway.Can imagine your anger at this happening.

Being over 2 years out of warranty i wouldn't have even thought of contesting it.
Would have felt it would be nice for some help of coarse, but legally and almost morally speaking, triumph didn't even have to reply really being that far over warranty. You still have my sympathy of coarse!
Where did you manage to get an engine from? Or did i miss this bit somewhere else in the thread?
