For some reason I quite like the 253, probably the fact that it's cheap. Cool wee motors.

A lot of the pre and just post war cars can be had cheap, they just don't seem that popular with the hard out collectors.

Me too - 1st car was one, it was 13 months old when I got it (didn't look like this one on TM though - I ain't THAT old!)

Funny thing is the only Vauxhall I've ever owned was a '70 PC Cresta! Lovely to travel in, but apart from the Chevette's which I still liked somewhat, it's really the pre-80's that I really like and can't think of any models I wouldn't own if I had the chance.
